ManTripping

ManTripping.com is a travel site built around the trip you take with your buddies. Guys weekends, bachelor parties, road trips, the annual fishing trip nobody misses. I write it in first person because that is the only way this works: I have been to the places I recommend, and when something is not worth the drive I say so. The test every article has to pass is whether it reads like a friend who already made the trip or like a tourism board that never left the office. We are not in the second business.

The reader is a man between 35 and 55 who works hard and travels deliberately. He is comfortable financially without being loud about it, the kind of practical luxury that buys a well-optioned truck instead of a badge. He has been enough places to spot marketing copy at a glance, so he comes here for specifics: what it costs, how far it is, what to book ahead, which part is worth the money and which part everyone skips. He is usually planning for a group, which means he is not only choosing a destination, he is defending the choice to four other guys.

Coverage runs from bucket list and adventure travel to fishing, hunting, golf and the outdoors, road trips and sporting events, plus the gear, grills, whiskey and tech that go with them. Several times a year we run open submission roundups where brands pitch directly into a seasonal guide, and the bigger ones generate several published articles rather than one. ManTripping is the flagship of Flow Media Marketing, alongside MenWhoBlog.com, CouplePlaces.com and CruiseWestCoast.com. Press trips, review samples and partnership conversations are all welcome on the terms we publish under: firsthand experience, honest assessment, and no coverage promised in advance.

Professional Background

ManTripping is published by James Hills, founder of Flow Media Marketing and CruiseWestCoast.com. James has more than 20 years of digital marketing, social media, influencer marketing, and content publishing experience.

Before building ManTripping into a long-running men’s lifestyle and travel publication, James held social media and digital marketing roles with major consumer brands and worked on influencer programs across retail, travel, consumer products, and lifestyle categories.

That combination of editorial experience and marketing strategy gives ManTripping a practical understanding of what readers need, what journalists look for, and how brands can tell stories in a way that feels useful instead of forced.
